Underoath - Disambiguation Album Review

                                                        Underoath - Disambiguation

Underoaths new album Disambiguation is the follow album to there popular release, Lost In The Sound Of Seperation. With the departure of there drummer and vocalist Aaron Gillespie they recruited ex-Norma Jean drummer Daniel Davison. Daniel still holds the creative side of drumming that Aaron had but ushers in a more heavy sound. The opening song to the album "In Division" is exactly what fans have been waiting for, more of the unique heaviness that Underoath is famous for along with a new level of heavy that fans were yearning for. As the album continues there are more heavy tracks such as "Illuminator" but there is also slower songs like "Driftwood". The mix of songs keeps things in a very balanced state. The bass is very prominent in this album which definitely gives it a new and unique feel. In musical elements nothing is held back. It is a no holds barred barrage of your senses that will leave you yearning for more. None of the old Underoath is gone from this album, with Disambiguation we get more of the Underoath we know and love. I give this album 5 drum sticks out of 5
